I've only read 1 - 9 so far, I'm planning on buying 10 + 11 as soon as I can afford it but rn all my money goes on stuff for my MSc and my trip to india at the end of the year :( It wasn't exactly mentioned in the novels whether or not his weapon had been taken though he did think the police had probably found it when they came to question him about the attack, and seeing as he walked out of the hospital I'm assuming he had his normal clothes at the time lol, though yeah it's entirely possible he doesn't have his knife with him and will have to procure a new one.
