BAD DECISION MONTH: THE BAD DECISIONING

...well, Bad Decision #1. So, Asgard, in the November plot event, you may have noticed a reference to "an assassination attempt gone terribly wrong." True to their name, the Assassins are striking at Thiazi. Behind the scenes, they sent a few NPC Asgardian recruits to Utgard a few days ago to scope out the Ice Queen's mansion there. They returned with a copy of a set of runes carved into the wall, and after some research revealed that the runes were Utgard's/the queen's version of teleportation magic, an expedition was mounted.

Tomorrow, on Day 352, Ezio, Desmond, Altaïr and Connor will use the rune magic to go through Thiazi's private portal to her kingdom. It's a reconaissance mission, strictly meant to gather information on her home and defenses for use in a future assassination, but we all know about the best-laid plans of mice and men, right? A fight will ensue, Thiazi will prove herself to be surprisingly resistant to a tomahawk to the face, and the four-man team will find themselves tortured a bit and tossed out onto their asses in Utgard, left to drag themselves back to Asgard.

None of this will be known to the Travel(l)ers at the time it takes place, but once they're back in range, Desmond will use his bracelet to make an S.O.S. call, because all of them are in a bad way. There will be action options to help them out (capped, so it doesn't become the world's worst parade) and they'll answer questions after an IC delay. Though Assassins being Assassins, they're not going to answer all questions (ones like "WHY WOULD YOU EVER DO THIS?")—which doesn't mean characters shouldn't ask, of course.

Feel free to toss any questions and comments at us here if you have them!
