HEY GUYS!
I'm Kate, I currently play baby Dumbledore, and I just apped this guy in.
This is Jaime Lannister, from the book series (and TV adaptation!) A Song of Ice and Fire. He's currently a knight and Lord Commander of the Kingsguard -- think 'the secret service' but without cool sunglasses -- and is accomplished at snarking, sniping, forsaking vows, and pushing small children out of windows.
ASOIAF is a pretty nasty series at times, and Jaime's not a very good person in it. His story has a lot of potential to be unpleasant and/or triggering, so I've stuck an opt-out post on my journal, and you're absolutely welcome to contact me privately as well.
I'm taking Jaime from his furthest point in the series, A Dance with Dragons, so if you'd like to avoid spoilers please just let me know using one of the options above. For the most part, I'm favouring book canon where the two diverge, but I'm happy to explain away any differences with 'stories change quickly as word gets around'.
I'm looking forward to playing with all of you, and I'll put up a post in the mingle log later tonight. Thanks to everyone who lent me a hand during the app process. It's been a very long time since I've played Jaime, so there's a HMD post over here as well. :)
