PLANTING ALL. THE. THINGS!!!

Hello, wonderful Asgardians! I am going to just add another mini-event to the stream of cracky stuff that we'll see on the July's schedule.

That's right. Let me tell you about...

On day 99, out of the blue, two rather inexperienced kids made a joint video post about a project they have decided to organize, in order to bring Asgard back to its beauty after the flood destroyed most of the little vegetation, wiping away gardens and flowers alike. Said project is named after an actual holiday that occurs yearly in all the globe. What occasion is more important than this?

The next ten days will be dedicated to various advertisements that will spread through all of the city, with the purpose of involving the natives in this project, other than other guests out there. It's their city, after all! They should take care of it first and foremost! All of the characters who want to help can post in the network or actively send out leaflets to contribute, if you'd like to do so. The more people take initiatives, the better!

On day 106 (July 1st probably), there will be an announcement on the network stating the exact date of the event. People may still be sore from camping shenanigans, but the project must continue~

And finally, on Day 109 (July 7-8th), the big log will be made! Everyone can partecipate, even those who are not helping or didn't support the project at first! There will be lots of chances for new CR and shenanigans in all districts!

Now, how is it going to work out? Simply in two phases:

- Everyone will gather at the Sigyn's Welcome Hall, where all materials for the planting will be displayed for anyone to pick and use. There will be a mingling thread in which people can IC pair up or get into teams that will then choose one district and plant things in there.

- I will make other top threads concerning every district, in which you can get your teams to have fun planting!

All other details about the log will be given when it's up.

If you have any questions concerning the event, ask away. This post is mainly for you all to plot your teams out or making suggestions of your own. Plot plot plot!

Kanaya loves doing topiary art and stuff like that, so she'd be glad to help out! She can make trees look pretty if someone grows them to a more mature size. :3

And she'd be happy to plant as well! Hanako's already asked her to provide tools and stuff, so she'll be bringing those.

Merlin can hand out leaflets at the Sigyn hospital! And...I dunno if Lucifer would be okay with Rise leaving leaflets around at the Lux, but if it is, she'll do it!

Both of them will be around, helping with the planting and then some. If anyone gets injured (somehow), Merlin can heal them, and Rise can use her charm to cheer people on if they start getting tired!

N can hand out vegan-friendly pamphlets and soapbox about the wonders of nature and the horrors of plantmurder anywhere and everywhere possible, so even if i'm on hiatus, if you're up for backtagging i'd love to Do Things with everyone. N loves this kind of thing minus the droves of people because EW HUMANS???? so this could be a lot of fun. he'll be available throughout the whole thing. ♡♡♡♡♡♡

Since I'll be on hiatus/sending Sophie on a canon update, she won't be around to be handing out leaflets. I'll most likely be back (as well as Sophie who might be mopey-- but she might have sopheria seeds when she's back!) on the day of the actual event and she probably has bought a bunch of seeds by now.

Uh, yeah. She'll be helping out on the actual event big log! \o/ EDIT: I mostly see her planting around the Thor district since it's where she stays, but she'll be everywhere too.

Nakama will be handing out leaflets at the tailor shop, and god willing my tag mountain dissipates a bit by then and I'm more settled here, she'll tag into the log!

Damien will be putting a stack of leaflets nearby the checkout counter in the Great Library since many people seem to go there and probably stick one up near the doors or something.

During the event, he'll also be going around planting things and will pass out refreshments like cold water. (melting ice into cold water in a cup is pretty useful) For planting, he'll be around the Odin district, but he'll be generally everywhere else if someone needs help in a different district.

Damien will be the first to get sopheria seeds when Sophie gets back!! >:0 Or not since the mods said they can't bring items back from canon update. Sob!! Maybe next time there's a regain event. ;A; She won't mind running around and planting things with Damien though |D

Leafleting? Being helpful? Count Jasmine in for that! The actual gathering will be a little tougher for her because omg interaction with people why can't she be back in her empty Gym hiding from socialising. She'll go there anyway though because it's the right thing to do! ALSO BECAUSE DELICIOUS NEW CR NOMNOMNOM.

Hibiki will be handing out leaflets when she's not practicing magic (...Or maybe even while she's practicing magic sobbing) and will probably be on the digging or planting team because she really wants to dig but somehow I can see her not being too good at that whoops.

Riku might only hand out stuff if someone pokes/prods/drags him to do it. So he won't be handing things out on his own, but in groups (specifically the Lux regulars group), sure!

And I really hope we're allowed to plant any kind of plant even one from our characters canon, because I'd adore to be able to plant a Paopu tree ;w;

Who wants to plant a tree full of destiny fruit with Rikuuuuu? 8D He'll probably stick it in Sigyn's district.

Kaito will be going around advertising for this stint with magic tricks and handing out leaflets during his tricks! So you'll see him around Asgard-- and during the day of the event, he'll be handing out water, generally performing tricks to amuse people and performing during breaks/lunch hours. Yep. Lots of confetti flying about.

Sasamori will definitely be going around handing out fliers, and she'll also be doing her best to help out at the event!

Kanone is getting dragged in by a certain blond moe and he'll show up to generally stalk people/make a nuisance of himself and grudgingly plant a few flowers because this is what he's supposed to be here for.

Yuri will be happy to advertise this at his tea room. Also, if you'd like someone to cater, he would probably do so, as it's for a good cause. He'll also encourage his employees (Travelers and natives) to help.

Lucy will likely do a little bit of everything if she can! Definitely the planting though, and maybe even lend a helping hand with others who are planting.

Shou will absolutely help with digging and planting. He doesn't really know how to approach people socially, but he's not unpleasant if approached. NPCs permitting, he'll borrow a horse an carriage to lug supplies around if needed.
