NEW SHOP AND ASSASSIN'S BUREAU INFORMATION

Hey guys, Till here! I just wanted to drop a note here that the city has a new shop, and of course more secretively, an assassin's bureau. I'll try to keep this short and leave the TL;DR to the actually write up which is located H E R E for the shop (A Needle in a Haystack) and H E R E for the bureau.

A NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK: The shop is considered a wares and eatery shop in the public view. Hours are SATURDAY thru THURSDAY: 0900 to 1300 | 1400 to 1900 and the shop is closed on FRIDAY. The stock and items held in the shop will update bi-monthly. If a character wishes to request an item/service for the shop to carry or produce particularly they may do so under THIS thread. Unfortunately for the prospective buyer, prices at A Needle in a Haystack are NOT SET. Everything on the shelf/currently in stock is sold via the art of haggling. Assumption of the sold price is up to the character buying as everything does not have to be logged in-character but if one would actually want to play through the torture of haggling for something IC!ly they may do so HERE in which any employee may reply. The only thing that has set charges for the shop is the eat-in food prices and services. Asides the wares and food offered, the shop also offers older world services such as courier, translation, dictation and cartography services.

The application for those wishing to apply for a job (or apprentice to a service) is open to anyone who was to grab a spot! Right now the current positions that are open are FRONT COUNTER STAFF (2 openings) | KITCHEN & SERVING STAFF (2 openings) | COURIER STAFF (1 opening) | DICTATION STAFF (1 opening) | CARTOGRAPHY STAFF (1 opening). Anyone looking to secure a job has a few choices; one, contact me via PM or PLURK to sort out an interaction, or comment here and let me know so I’ll just handwave the conversation and sort out the details on the fly. ASSASSIN'S BUREAU: First off, the bureau is open to canon and non!canon members of the Assassin's Order. With canon members it’s canon to be a part of the Order- so getting in takes getting your character situated on good terms with the other canon!mates and knowing/trusting of their place as a brother. Once that is completed, then you can leave a comment HERE. For characters being trained/brought in by an existing member of the Order outside the canon or those that are interested in joining the Order then all it takes is getting some CR with the assassin's or having one of them notice their skills and dragging them in! To be a member from outside the canon it takes a referring member (THREE samples of sufficient in-character interaction with the referring member) in which the character is voted in by those already in the Order with a margin of two to three. If you are interested in having your character involved PLEASE don't hesitate to contact a member already in the order because we are all totally stoked about getting people outside the canon in on this.

The second option for characters that are not direct members of the Order but are considered associates (characters such as Leonardo Da Vinci), is finding CR with a member and applying to be a privileged non-member. While they will not be considered an assassin or a member of the Order, they will be privy to information given out by the bureau and be considered priority for Order members to gather resources/information from outside the circle. This of course is open to any character in canon or out.

With that I can say that there will be an IC post advertising the SHOP that will come around after the drama of the recent plot subsides. Look for a post in the main community by Ezio (sicarius) in a week or so.
