MOD ANNOUNCEMENT: IMPORTANT APP THING!
Hey guys, we have a quick but important announcement regarding apps.
Due to the way the plot is laid out, the mods realised that November's app round would place newbies square in the middle of the end-of-arc plot. This would mean new characters coming in in the middle of a chaotic giant event, and it would mean the mod team having to double-up on work as we run that event. It would be ICly and OOCly hard on both newbies and mods (and on players trying to keep track of a big plot and an intro flood at the same time). It also wouldn't make much sense plot-wise for the gods to put energy into bring new people when there's an active battle going!
Thus, we've decided that there will be no November app round. Apps will proceed as normal in October, but the next round after that will be December, at which point apps will go back to being every month as usual. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but given the plotting we feel this is the easiest option for everyone all around.
