PLOT EVENT: THE MESSENGER FROM THE FIRST GATE

Hey, Asgardians!

I'm sure your characters have all been wondering what their real purpose is. They can't just be here to make things pretty, right? After all, their letters did mention "the fate of all existence."

Day 28 at sunset (so right now as of this post), the temperature will go from frigid to nearly summer warm all at once. Accompanying that will be a few strange sights -- the sky will turn dark, covered in black clouds that hide a reddish light. Everything will be cast in dull red, with no sign of the usual moon or stars.

After an hour or so, a booming voice will sound out over the entire city:

"The King of Muspellheim has spoken. He has seen your treacherous actions, and his decision is war. Beware, for Ragnarok, the End of Days, is upon you. Your time is past. All who dwell under the reign of these "Gods" will die."

After this, a shadow will drift over the city -- the speaker is a large, blood red dragon, and though he won't land to fight, he will breathe a bit of fire. Characters are welcome to attack him if they can manage anything that'd reach, but his response will mostly be to either use his firebreath or just fly higher above the city. He'll circle the city for another hour or so, focusing on the castle, which will have begun to glow with a faint white light. There's communication going on between him and the Gods, but it won't be audible to mortal ears.

When the dragon leaves, there will be a few small fires throughout the districts which will be put out relatively easily with just garden hoses and bucket chains. There may be some injuries though, so be careful!

The skies will stay dark and red and the temperature will stay warm for the remainder of the night, clearing up in the morning (12:01am CST on 01/29). Be on the lookout for a possible statement from a god or two in the next few days!

Zen probably would prefer that, though he's currently running off solo. If aaany of the healers want to suddenly decide to make a makeshift medical camp, I'm up for it.

Okay, well, seeing as Zen's able to Damage Drain, he could probably be one of the 'runners', to hold onto the wounds of others to bring to a Healer, seeing as he can probably take the wounds children couldn't, and guide others to the medical tent as well!

But we should also get more people aware of this..!

Not quite sure actually. Zen himself is running about, but he'd be better off settling in one place since he does have a lot of medical equipment with him since he doesn't really trust Sigyn's healing power thing to work for those who have it. He won't mind taking the damage for small wounds though if they make others uncomfortable, but he'd rather use good old fashioned medicine.

Well, seeing as there's already a hospital, the idea is to set up another healing post further away from the hospital, so that it may reach the other half of the city; thus, she'll be somewhere between Freya and Baldr, most likely Freya.

Just not too sure how to do this... maybe a group 3-way or single threads for each character? Which would you be more comfortable with?

I don't mind 3-way threads! Aaaaand okay Zen can probably make his way there after he saves little kids from destroying themselves or something!
