Hello, Asgardians! This freshmeat goes by the name, Maguro. I hope you'll be patient with me as I am finally getting into the RP-game-scene, again, after not really adamantly playing in one since the migration from LJ. o:

I'll be bringing in Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion. AKA: that one series that is full of heartwarming relationships and kids and fun. And different dimensions. *eyes Rebuild and all the licensed spin-offs that I won't even go into* And he will be, specifically, from the post-anime timeline!
(So if he sees "he-who-must-not-be-named", things might get stressful, quickly. 8T)

Ridiculous but adorable official artand fandom are how fans cope with the pain.

So far? this lil' guy will be in the house of Heimdall, probably not all that willing to use or even care about his energy-lending power, for now.

I will end this intro with Shinji serenading you all with with his ..."melodious interpretation" of 'Fly Me to the Moon'. 8') All of Asgard will know of his blood-curdling screams.

Hey guys! I know you're probably sick of all of our announcements but we've been working on a few things for you! There's a lot here, but we wanted to get it out to you all in one shot instead of making six separate announcements. Thanks for bearing with us. ;;

First off, we have a couple NPCs up for grabs over on the NPC App Page. Who they are along with brief descriptions and activity levels are detailed over there, so please do take a look at those if you're interested in joining the mod helper team. Heimdall is needed for the June plot next week, so apps for him will close Monday, June 10 and Surt will not make a major appearance until Arc 3, so apps for him will close Friday, June 14 to give everyone a fair opportunity to apply. Playing NPCs is super fun so you guys should definitely considering checking it out!

Now onto some general housekeeping. Second up, we've added Loki's Creation Myth post to the game premise, meaning that characters will automatically be taken to this post either after they've read the joke guide or ten minutes after starting up their bracelets upon arrival. This was requested both ICly and OOCly, so henceforth, that post will be made immediately available to new arrivals.

Third, the Housing Pages have all been updated with recent drops and double checking that they match the Taken Lists. If you see any mistakes or have any problems with the arrangements, let us know and we'll see what we can do! Also, just for anyone curious, we now have a GDoc spreadsheet of the God Houses and their Travellers. This is taken directly from the Taken Lists, so if you aren't on there, let us know ASAP because that means you aren't on the Taken Lists!

Fourth, we renovated the Runic Magic page. The system kind of grew larger than we'd anticipated and Dawn was met with some unexpected business RL, so we have moved all approved/rejected runes onto this page for easy viewing. We ask that you please submit any new rune ideas on this page henceforth!

And while we're on that note, Dawn is looking for a co-guild master to help run the magic guild! Anyone interested in helping out with general magic things or bringing new ideas on how to revitalise the magic guild should contact Dawn via PM at snugglesjugs or PP at NeoArtemiss.

Fifth, as a reminder to those that might've forgotten or missed it, we're accepting some mythical creature submissions to kind of add a bit of flavour to the world as players would like to see it. Information is in Dawn's post here. Remember that no creatures can have any magical abilities, and they must be smaller than a pony without mod permission. We can discuss anything larger than that on a case-by-case basis.

Lastly, I promise this post is ending, a friendly reminder about the June events! Make sure you read through everything and ask any questions if there's anything you don't understand. Sign-ups for the specialty teams in the Thrymheim plot will close Monday, June 10 so we can let people know what teams they're on before the plot gets rolling.

Sorry my peeps, but I can't keep up with Vriska right now.

Unfortunately RL comes first and mine has kind of exploded recently. My health and rl situation has kind of been in a downward spiral for a couple weeks now, and while I had fun, I don't feel right dragging my heels when I can't put in the activity that Vriska deserves.

Perhaps I'll try apping back with another character another time, but right now I have to focus on rl. If you still want to rp with my Vriska, you can find me on plurk or in my musebox--or on various memes at bakerstreet.
