Faith here with a massive apology for taking an unexpected weeklong hiatus. RL got a little bit crazy and while they should hopefully be turning for the better henceforth, I can't quite say where I will be at any given moment.

That said, backtags are going to trickle in slowly and anyone can feel more than free to drop whatever they'd like. I'm really sorry for the wait and how slow I've been of late.

Hello! I'm Iris, and this is my first time here in Asgard. I've been DW RPing for a bit less than a year, and this is my fourth game. (I really like to write prose.)

I'm bringing in Saber from Fate/Stay Night. Saber happens to be Arturia Pendragon, who was better known as King Arthur of Britain. I've pulled her from after UBW's true end. She was chosen by Heimdall and has Energy Lending.

I plan on lurking for most of the month as this was a planned hiatus month (where's my open beta, FFXIV?). This is my first time in a larger game with more substantial plot, so I'm pretty excited (and nervous) about that!

This is Faith Lehane from some obscure show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She's a Slayer back home, excited to be top of the food chain and really proud of her strength and general bad-assery. In Asgard, however, she isn't getting ANY of those things. She's been brought here by Loki and she's going to have to get used to a whole new power - Telekinesis. She's coming to the city from 3x14 Bad Girls and will be waking up in the castle after having busted out of a cop car with Buffy and doing some general crime spree stuff. In canon, Buffy checks the paper for word of their crimes, but Faith will be waking up here.

I'm Christina (Erica Reyes | Katherine Pierce) and I'm super excited for this. Asgard has become a home game for me in the few months I've been here and I was looking for another lady to stir up some trouble in the reckless kinda way and here she is! Hello, my name is Anna and I will be your Sirius Black player for the evening.

For those few not in the know or those who simply need a refresher, Sirius is from Harry Potter. He's Harry's godfather and sworn enemy of veils everywhere. I'm taking him from before the books, during the First Wizarding War, so he's considerably younger and more handsome than he is during canon. He is from after Harry's birth and around the time the war started to take a turn for the worse (at least for Order members).

But enough about background! What is Sirius like?

Well, he's been "sorted" into Heimdall House and his power is energy lending. He can be charming. He can be a jerk. He can go back and forth between the two in short order. He loves playing pranks and getting into trouble but he is fiercely loyal and if you befriend him he will protect you to the end just don't betray him or he'll break out of jail to try and kill you.

ANYWAY point is he's adorable and bouncy but also very loyal and kingly-duty-things so that's why he's been placed in Heimdall House also ball pit

Hey folks! Just a little announcement here regarding app standards and how much canon information is required vs. how much headcanon is acceptable in a canon application. This will always be determined on a case-by-case situation as available canon information will vary from one character to the next, but the app team and moderators have recently had a discussion to determine the a set of guidelines that would be as fair as possible across the board.

In order for a character to be viable in Asgard, a character needs to have a discernible personality as well as having an established background or history. This can be either a significant physical appearance in their own canon timeline or enough secondhand accounts from other characters (ie: flashbacks, recollections, etc) to form an unbiased, three dimensional personality for that character. If an application relies heavily on supplemental canon information, we will require links to this information, if at all possible.

This is, again, a case-by-case situation and should be discussed with the app team prior to the application period, but establishing a clear baseline of requirements should make it easier for players to determine what is acceptable before considering a character for application. Hi there, Asgard! Crystal (Elena Gilbert) here bringing in my second character.

This is Daneca Wasserman from the Curse Workers book series, particularly post-canon. For those unfamiliar with the series, Daneca is an emotion worker - which means she'd be able to alter the emotions of people through touch - but doesn't advertise it. (There will be lots of mixed feelings about losing that power.) She also doesn't get involved in crime like most workers since it's illegal to work/"work" anybody. Instead, Daneca's been following more in the footsteps of her mother and tried to be involved in worker's rights/protesting anti-worker legislation. Other than that, she's just been trying to survive high school.

Here, Daneca will be in Sigyn with the power of Healing.
