HI HELLO PEOPLE OF ASGARD I'm Marie and I bring with me one (1) Johanna Mason of The Hunger Games fame. Some of you may remember me from my very brief tenure here as amy pond but you enticed me back, I couldn't stay away. Johanna here is a 20 year old, issue ridden ball of anger and vitriol (hoy of joys! i hear you all yell in chorus) and really isn't very lovely. For those of you who are canon blind, four years ago she had to fight to the death in an arena with 23 other kids. Johanna won. Since then she's been living the life of riley except for the part where everyone dies and recently has been doing fun things like helping the Girl on Fire break out of another arena so she can go be the face of the rebellion. Fun. For those who are canon familiar, her canon point is Mockingjay, pre-rescue. Enjoy.

Now with the movies and all that I know there are some people not book familiar, and also she isn't a super pleasant character to deal with so I made a handy opt out post. Otherwise, if you want more info head on over here. SHE'S ON THE INTRO MINGLE ALREADY because I'm really impatient and excited so head over there for that.

As if the world itself didn't have enough of them...? Whatever. Hi Asgard, I'm Marian! I'm not from around here--or I guess I am now, shh--and I'm joining you all with this jerk named Fandral from Thor (or MCU, I'm really not picky, call it what you want). For the canonblind: he's a schmoozing, flirtatious narcissist with one of those really annoying hearts of gold, or appropriate 'good' quantifier. And he has a sword. And a really swooshy cape. And he'll be joining Freya's house, and gifted with makeout powers energy transfer. Yes.

He's coming in from the end of TDW, but luckily, he's not really in it enough to spoil it for anyone. HOWEVER, that said, if you want me to be extra-super diligent about not spoiling it regardless, just let me know and I will do my utmost.

I'll be jumping into the intro mingle sometime today, as well as setting up appropriate permissions, etc., etc. Feel free to add me on plurk at befantastical and/or AIM (though I'm usually only on during PST evenings, because...work) at Achaean Strings!

I AM SO EXCITED TO BE HERE, HI! Fresh meat by the name of Cella, bringing in Sif from that one movie about Shakespeare In Space With Draperies And Smurfs.

A little bit about Sif: though Norse Mythology writes her off as Thor's wife, this is not the case with MCU!Sif. I look forward to playing out the indignated confusion, however! She comes to Heimdall House (you're all fucking welcome). I'm super-duper-excited to play here with everyone, wait this isn't about Sif anymore. A little bit about Cella: let me sing you the songs of my people. I promise I am friendly, but if you want me to bite, it can be arranged.

Hello Asgard! This is Merav (sillysymphony / your Hamel player / abhero), bringing in a second character - Mikazuki Shinonome from the lovely obscure manga The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer. Back home he and his fellow Knights fight to save to world from an evil Mage, and he’s super excited to be thrown into yet another war because more battles are the best thing ever you guys!!

Yeah, he’s crazy like that. Mikazuki practices martial arts, his favorite hobby is fighting!! and he’s always looking for strong people to challenge. Even if they aren’t interested. He’s very persistent. Because fighting is fun and he wants everyone to have fun with him! When he isn’t looking for people to spar, he’s cheerful, kind and very friendly. He’s a really a great guy! As long as you don’t care about his hooligan tendencies.

He’s in Thor with strength, because there’s no better house for a guy whose nickname is “battle demon”.

Hello everyone, I'm bookworm and this is my first time doing anything like this *dies of nervousness*

I bring you one extremely old and emo elf - this is Makalaure, more commonly known as Maglor - one of the seven sons of Feanor from JRR Tolkien's LOTR prehistory epic, the Silmarillion. Basic summary of his life is that his dad made 3 shiny jewels, and then swore a terrible oath to reclaim them, and dragged the whole family along with him into madness. Maglor here is son number 2, probably the most sane of them (this isn't saying much), and one of the nicer ones (this is sadly not that big an achievement either, considering some of the others). He's also the only one left alive, and has been wandering along the beach for the last 6000 or so years singing depressing songs. Trauma Conga Line* was practically created for his family. I've taken him from the end of Lord of the Rings (which he isn't actually in...), where he's just watched his foster son & last remaining family member leave him forever so... he's going to be rather more depressed than normal. Please feel free to mock his angst or try to cheer him up! Otherwise enjoy your depressed minstrel wandering around town singing sad songs.

He's going to be in Freyr & have Bardic Inspiration, which hilariously is almost identical to what he can do naturally in his own canon (in Tolkien's world they can and do battle using music*. It is rather awesome). He will be the most depressed (& depressing with that power) guy in Freyr ever (on the plus side, if anyone ever wanted to learn how to sing laments?)
