Hello Asgard,

I bring to you a man who punches bears in the face, even demon bears that have chomped his leg clean off. He is a man who believes that learning to fight is essential, princess or not. He is a King, a warrior, a father, and the patriarch of the clan DunBroch. Yes that's right I, Susurrus, player of Loveless’ Kio, bring to you the ferocious bear king from Disney & Pixar’s Brave: King Fergus. You may have heard of him or ask among all that what is such a man known for. Which of course is his terrific impersonations.



That being said, given the history of the four clans he won’t be very thrilled to find himself in Asgard at first. However, with time I’m sure he’ll come around. He is going to be placed in Thor’s house and given the gift of strength. To be used for punching other ferocious beasties in the face. He’s still going to be a bit doubtful of magic, but will be more than willing to show any of you how to use a sword or bow.

GREETINGS ASGARD.

I am Emily, also fresh meat, while I do know some of you. I am bringing you one Stefan Salvatore, from The Vampire Diaries! For those of you unfamiliar, he's one of those aforementioned vampires, Damon Salvatore's bratty baby brother and his hobbies currently include brooding, eating poor defenseless bunnies and making moon eyes at his girlfriend, Miss Elena Gilbert.

This is especially true as he is coming in from 203: Bad Moon Rising, right before a werewolf Mason Lockwood is about to eat his face off! So as far as he knows, he thinks the worst of his problems are Katherine and werewolves. Try not to laugh in his face about it.

Stefan is going to be over in Hel House with shadow control, and his IC inbox is here for now, but I may switch it up for something more Asgard-specific, depending on how much traffic it gets. Until then, I recycle.

ANYWAY I am really excited to be here, as I have been eyeing the game for a while, and will jump right in as soon as work stops demanding all of my time. (Stupid having to earn money to live.) So I'm Kimmie, and I used to play here like over a year ago with Claire Saunders aka Whiskey, but now I'm bringing in Ygritte from ASOIAF. She's from above the Wall whereas everybody else is from below the Wall. Her people are trying to get on the other side because ice zombies are causing some trouble. She's from a pretty spoilery point for this watching the show. I'll just say she's from after Storm of Swords to keep it simple.

Hello, party people!

It's Tara again -- player of the Eighth Doctor and Hawkeye Pierce -- bringing my third and final character, Annie Sawyer from Being Human (UK). She's a sensitive, adorable, mothering ghost (or...former ghost here in Asgard) who will ply you with gallons of tea. That is, until you mess with her people and then she gets a bit vengeful.

She's in Sigyn (big surprise, I know, since all my characters are in Sigyn...I have a type, okay?) with Growth, and is coming from the very end of her story, the Series 4 finale "The War Child."

Hi! Rachel here (Hermione, Joel and Hawke mun) bringing in another character because I am terribly irresponsible and want to app everyone. This is Renly Baratheon from the series A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones! He's been sorted into Loki with the power of telekinesis (not that he is intending to use it at all) and he is already furious about the fact that there are a dozen people claiming to be king when, c'mon, he's the true king of Westeros.

Hey everyone! This is Mae ( Romana, Jack Skellington player ) with my third and final character for Asgard.

This is Morgiana from the series "Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic", who is a very good friend of Aladdin's in canon. She looks like a normal girl but she's actually a Fanalis, a type of bad ass warrior with incredible strength, speed, and sense of smell. But seeing as she's in Asgard, two of those three have been dumb down immensely to be just slightly above average but no where near as strong as they would be back home.

Despite being a warrior she's actually very sweet and kind around others, if not quiet. She likes being as helpful as possible so she'll probably try to take on a job or two. Mor also likes to dance too but she doesn't do that often.

Anywho! She is in Thor House, her power is Speed, and for plotting things I can be reached via PM on journals or feel free to add me on plurk teaandcookies!

... OH AND I FORGOT: her canon point is Chapter 199 in the manga!

this is Adi, mun of both morgana pendragon and jamie moriarty bringing my third and final lovely lady to this game!!! this is regina mills, otherwise known as the evil queen from the series once upon a time where everything is fairytales and good looking people!! remember the queen from snow white with the apple? that's her only with 170% more sass.

regina is from 3x03 which means she is not glad to be here as she's supposed to be in neverland convincing tinkerbell to help her get her son back from peter pan.

...yeah I know how it sounds. anyway, because of main motive for everything is her love for her son henry, she's in house freya! you can pretty much imagine how glad she is of that!!

Hi-ho, neighbors! Autumn here with two quick policy changes and a request from us, so please take a moment to read this over.

Change to Cast Caps:

Firstly, we're making a minor change regarding cast caps. Currently, all casts in game max out at 25 characters, and each canon 'universe' falls under that same umbrella (e.g. combined, the casts of all of the Assassin's Creed games could not exceed 25 shared characters.) We have recently decided that, in the interest of fairness, some spinoff series' may be given a separate "secondary" cap of ten characters. Right now, this will only directly affect the Torchwood and Doctor Who casts. (The reasoning behind this policy change is that while we still fully endorse the cast cap rule, we felt that it was slightly unfair to the Torchwood cast - it is its own fully established canon with 40+ episodes, and we didn't like the idea of the cap being hit and locking out main characters from it from apping at all.) Further cap splits will be judged on a case-by-case basis, so we hope you will come forward if you're worried about this rule negatively affecting you or your cast.

The two cast caps are now completely separate, though not entirely equal: Doctor Who and other spinoffs are still at 25, and Torchwood, as a massive spinoff sharing a universe with another canon in game, will have one of 10. If you have any questions, comments, or complaints, please feel free to address them here or via any other suggested method of mod contact! We definitely want to make our rules work for our players and not against them, so as always, make sure to let us know what we can do for you.

Change to Strike System re: Hiatus Passes:

Secondly, we have a minor change regarding the strike system and activity checks. Hiatus passes will no longer count toward clearing a strike. Strikes must now be cleared with two months' worth of submitted activity and not just by passing AC for two months. Ex: If you have a strike from January, submit 30 comments in February, and then pass with a hiatus in March, your strike will NOT be cleared until you provide 30 comments in April. Again, this is not a policy change that will affect most of you, but one we felt it would be best to announce before we began strongly enforcing.

Howdy! I'm Mech and I bring the always honest Applejack from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! She's from the latest season (4), but early on (episode 3).

I could have used her Equestria Girls look, but I'm not fond of that, so I prefer to use fanart that a friend found for me a long time ago.

AJ will be arriving in only her hat and is a part of Thor house with super strength. It is canon that she's got some very strong legs from all her farm work.

First, welcome to all the new players! I hope you like it here in Asgard!

There's a couple IC groups I'd like to draw your attention to: The Teacher's Council and The Medic Corps. Both are always looking for new members, so please do join if you're interested! The Teacher's Council, in particular, will have a meeting log posted in the next few days. It's a good way to get involved and get CR.

About the Teacher's Council updates: I'd like to scratch the one-on-one volunteer-based system and replace it with a group meeting system instead. People with the same power will have a specific time slot to meet up and practice together once a week. These smaller meetings can cover the power practice, while the larger general meetings will cover battle strategy and combining different house powers. Since the smaller meetings can get repetitive, I'll post them every so often for people to use as they see fit.

I don't want to make this change if a lot of people are against it, so I'd really like some feedback on this!

As for the Medic Corps: no major chances to the current structure for now, but once we get a few more sign-ups, I'll be splitting the members into smaller operational teams for events. And if anyone doesn't know this yet, Merlin's giving out a med kit (described in the link above) to everyone who joins the group.

On another note, Merlin and a few other characters are continuing our old Conan's project of an in-depth guide to Yggdrasil for the public and we could definitely use some help! If you're willing to write a few summaries/blurbs about events, places, types of giants (basically everything ever) please let me know in here so I can contact you about it at some point and put it all together (finally).

hello hello! i'm jamie and totally new, this is my first game in a Very Long time, i'm v v excited. here's one leto atreides ii from dune though specifically from the children of dune miniseries from back in 2003. for those familiar with the canon, he's taken long before becoming a Tyrannical Sandworm while still parsing ~the golden path. for those unfamiliar, he's essentially a space prince, the son of the messiah, born with the memories of all his ancestors and a card carrying member of the Twins Who Are Maybe A Little Too Intimate club, hi lannisters.
