You know what Asgard needs more of? Charming assholes who look like David Anders.

Hi, I'm Kacey and I have actually been in Asgard before a while ago. I am back and bringing in one fail!dad in the form of John Gilbert. Basically he's an asshole and you should never trust him with anything ever. Which is why he ended up in Loki's house. And he'll be coming in at the end of his last scene in episode 2.21, probably intro'ing him either in the log or a post. Haven't decided yet.

Anyway, feel free to friend me on my plurk at [plurk.com profile] seraphjewel and I look forward to playing with you all.

Irving Braxiatel
17 March 2014 @ 07:00 pm
Hey folks! In the grand tradition of the gods apparently feeling nostalgic for people's younger days, Irving Braxiatel is going to do revert to Icicle Braxiatel. I'm keeping him Miles Richardson, because it's my headcanon that he more or less sticks around the same incarnation so he doesn't get busted quite so often when he messes about with the First Law of Time. (DON'T MEET YOURSELF. Brax breaks this one hell of a lot.)

Brax will know who you are, not because he'll remember anyone but because Irving, ever prepared for everything, will have written notes on everyone and even at this age, Brax knows to take instruction from himself. (Even if he resents himself being as mysterious with him, if not more so, as he would anyone else.)

He'll be more like he belongs in Odin for his time here, head deep in books, not nearly as warm as his elder self but still very curious about humanity and even how the Master and the Doctor grew up into how they are, so he won't be as closed off as he could be. Just unspeakably awkward! So it should be fun.

Anyway, I'll have a post up tomorrow. Feel free to start plotting stuffs in the comments.

Okay, am back from the wedding.

...The trip back was uneventful, thank god. Now the car ride to Birmingham, that was hell. What was supposed to be only an eight hour car drive, leaving us enough time to have dinner and a drink after checking out, it turned out to be a FIFTEEN hour drive. Every ten or so miles we'd come after one traffic jam after another..the longest lasting four hours. It was a 2:45 by the time we got to the hotel.

Now for the wedding itself, that was fun. Was nice to see my friend again and catch up. Wedding itself was very low key, elegant..and one of the wedding cakes was inspired by Sally's dress in A Nightmare Before Christmas with little rag dolls for the bride and groom (it was red velvet cake for those who like cakes), and another more traditional white, two layered almond cake.

And just because it stuck out, this is a paraphrasing of what the minister said at the ceremony: The world is weird, I am weird and there's a good chance that everyone else is the same. The only thing we can do, when we meet someone who's weirdness matches with ours is to take them by the hand and promise to be supportive of each others' weirdness."

It sounded better when he said it.

Thankfully, the car trip back was uneventful and with no road blocks.

Anyway, I'm back and up for plotting. Pups involved are Kimberly Hart [personal profile] tinypink_crane and Sonya Blade [personal profile] lt_blade . Plurk is[plurk.com profile] Rschwartz501 for those that wish to plot.
