He's... pretty much average really. Maybe a tad over-excitable, maybe a bit annoying, but really normal and all nice and things. He also has a gay crush he would never admit to, but don't mind that.
Actually I was pretty unsure if he'd get in at all, since he's a bit of a side character despite his personality being pretty strong. He's actually SO ordinary that he hasn't actually been given a facial design in canon.
So I really, really apologize for lack of... well, faces... on my icons. ICly it won't matter, Yamashita's eyes are just hidden behind his hair and he generally appears all normal, but OOCly we'll all have to bear with mostly the back of his head. Yeah. Uhm.

Hi everyone! I'm playing a character that's still very much a wip; he was going to be totally different and he just wouldn't let me write him that way.

Karuika Mirel is a member of the Odin house -- I was between two different ones, so I hope it ends up being an okay fit! I'm a little nervous about that. He's not a genius or anything, but he's interested in people and life in general. He hails from a very religious land, so he'll probably accept the idea of these gods with at least some grace. Being chosen from his world for a purpose though... he'll be skeptical about.

Hello everyone! I'm Sin and I'm brand spanking new to Asgard thanks to some bums having way too much fun without me.

I bring you Maya Natsume from the fanservice battle series Tenjou Tenge. Seriously, there's so much fanservice in this series the great characters, artwork and amazing story tends to be overlooked. Just give me a moment to specify that Maya here is from the Tenjou Tenge manga, NOT the anime, despite my limited icon material. That means she's a bit more mature, the fanservice isn't quite as much, and she has silver hair instead of light purple.

Anyways, Maya is joining the Freya house and has the power Energy Transfer. Maya tends to keep people at arms length, coming off as very aloof, but once she gets to know someone, she warms up considerably. She's one of the best non-supernatural power martial artist in her canon, so she likes to fight and has a big nodachi called Reiki with her (minus its special powers which wouldn't work for her anyways).

On an ooc note: Tenjou Tenge, being fanservice, has a lot of adult themes in it and Maya, herself, has no problems showing off her body. Just look at those boobs. That being said, she expects people to stare or comment, so if that's something your character would do, you're more than welcome to it. I'm a very flexible player that rarely gets offended. Feel free to talk to me if you have questions or concerns. My AIM is maragidyne and my plurk is NinjaSin. I keep my plurk small and private, so if you want to be added, ask me first and don't take it personally if I decline.

Hey, Asgard! Some of you might remember the posts I made before about the Teacher's Council--I'm just popping in with some updates and a wave at the newcomers who might be interested!

To start off, all the information for the Teacher's Council has been moved to a new community, with a name to match the justice group and the black market.

A lot of old members dropped recently, so it'd be great if people would like to volunteer as teachers for their abilities. You can find the current list and sign ups right over here! On that note, there will be a practical lesson meeting in a few days. I'll be putting up the mingle and sparring parts of the meeting in one log, just for the record!

Secondly, there are two new additions to the Teacher's Council, both of which would also be good ways for your character to get CR and meet new people. Merlin's started a written log for people to share their experiences with the house powers. It's meant for open discussion, so you don't have to be involved with the Teacher's Council to post or reply to it! There's also an entry for people to find practice partners now. If the group meetings are too much for your character, this is another way for them to meet people to practice with at their own pace.


Hopefully, you guys will find this useful! Let me know if you have questions about anything I've mentioned in here!

Alright, so. Tomorrow I'm going out of town for something called Illinois Girls' State, and I won't be back until the 23rd.
