Yo everyone! Luu here to let people know I'll officially be taking a slowaitus. Tags will come, but on the slow side of things. I wish I could say it was for classes or work or something buuut...

PERSONA 4 ARENA IS FINALLY OUT. And I'm a competitive fighting game player, so most of my free time will be going to that for the new few weeks.

So, um, with college approaching, I'm gonna be incredibly busy. As a result, I'm gonna be taking a hiatus from now through the first of September! I'll try and finish some of my threads, so expect tags from me periodically!

Hullo asgardians! This is just a friendly note saying I'll be gone from tomorrow night and until the 21st. I'm going to Paris for vacation. I'll come back on the 19th but I'm taking two extra days to rest. I might end it a day or two early but better be safe than sorry!

This affects both Morgana and Dany!!

Morgana will be on autopilot with godmod rights to all of New Camelot. However! On the 15th Morgana will be hit with a week's worth of sleeping curse! Meaning, for the duration of the Darkness event, this one will be asleep and nothing will wake her up. Tho, I highly encourage her cast to try everything from slapping, cold water and true love kisses. She'll wake up on the 21st when I come back!

Dany and her dragon Drogon will be leaving Asgard! Dany is going to be exploring the world outside of Asgard and will be in Utgard for most of the days. You can consider her gone come tomorrow morning.

Hey Asgard! As I'm sure you've noticed, I've been beyond slow lately due to real-life job craziness, which unfortunately is going to continue until I finally leave at the beginning of September. So until then, consider this a slowatus/partial hiatus of sorts, though I do want to be around for that darkness plot if I can. I'll be tagging things here and there, but I'll likely be slow/scarce until I get out of this job.

This affects Richard here and Gai Tsutsugami (voidseeing).

Hi guys! After watching the poll and the discussions on AC, the mods have come to a final decision about the changes! We will be implementing Option 3 as of August AC.

What does this mean for you? It means that from now on listing your AC is going to be much less complicated, but it also means that the number of comments you have to submit will be rising for some players. As of this upcoming AC, we will ask for links to 30 comments of any kind across a minimum of three posts. This means threads in a network post you made, threads in a network post someone else made, threads in IC inboxes, and threads in any log post will all count equally! There will be no requirement for number of comments per thread. You can have one 25 comment thread, one 3 comment thread, and one 2 comment thread, or you can submit 30 threads you started that no one responded to. It doesn't matter what or where the comments are, so long as there are 30 of them and they are across at least 3 different posts of any kind.

If you were in the habit of submitting 20 thread comments or 6 log comments for your AC, your requirements are unfortunately going to go up a bit. However, 30 comments is only a comment a day per character for the month, so we feel it's a fair amount of activity. This change was fueled partially by a problem we've had with people posting and not coming back to tag on their posts, as well as general inactivity issues, so hopefully this will encourage everyone to get out there and get some threads going.

Additionally, we'd talked about adding a diversity requirement to tags. That will not be part of AC! However, the requirements for leveling up will be going up significantly to match AC's increase. Level ups are supposed to be incentive to go above and beyond what's "normal" activity, so we've decided to stiffen them up a bit.

Level 2 requirements were previously two months of 3 AC proofs per month with 2 of them cross-canon. This is now going to be increased to 50 comments across 5 posts per month, with 3 of them cross-canon and 1 (cross-canon OR canonmate) being someone they'd never tagged before. Level 3 requirements were previously four months of heightened activity plus an essay. This isn't changing! These changes have already been put into the post/forms just so they're visible to people working on leveling up after August AC. The old requirements and forms are in a comment linked on the level up page, so those of you leveling up after July AC can use them for the rest of this month.

AND NOW A FEW NOTES!

• We're working on a plot notes documents for the mods to have access to, so they're all better able to answer questions quickly. When it's done, we're going to make a slimmed down version to release publicly! This will give a brief outline of where the story is going at least for the rest of the current arc, so it's easier to plot player things around and involving it. Hopefully, this will make things a little better as far as players feeling out of the loop. Also remember, you can always volunteer to be involved with the mod plots and we'll throw you any info we can about open roles. We might even write in a role just for you!


• We've added info on the app team members to the app page! Also, Caleb has volunteered to take on questions about app statuses and the like, so his info's been plugged everywhere relevant.


• We are hiring! It's not ready yet, but soon we'll be adding the opportunity for a few of the NPCs to be apped by non-mod players. The apps will require the players to be long-time active members of the community and will be judged case-by-case on OOC behavior and reliability as well as on concrete numbers and the like. More details will come when we finish the setup.
  
  More immediately, Remi has decided to step down to only playing her NPCs. This means we are hiring a helper mod just for businesses! This person will be in charge of accepting or rejecting business apps as well as maintaining the business comm and the upcoming business list. They will have a hand in how the business list is made, too, so that it suits their coding skill and other preferences. Apps for this position will be done in reply to a comment in this post and the form will be found in that comment.
