I am sick, sick, sick. Little cold turned ugly, with no signs of abating yet. It's obviously been around for awhile, which you've probably noticed if you've been threading with me and taken note of my abysmal tagging speed, but I've been waiting to just wake up better after two or three days like I usually do from colds.

No such luck.

If I have to drop threads or go on full hiatus, I'll be back. Until then, I'll be chipping away at my massive block of tags and trying to get back to all of you darlings. The good news is that I'm going home for Thanksgiving weekend, so I get some babying that just might whip me back into shape.

I'm upgrading my unofficial hiatus to an official one because on top of being super busy I got really sick so now I have makeup work to worry about too! yay!

I've finally finished organising dat militia, and now that it's got the gorgeous stamp of mod approval, I have a finalised information page right over here! It's a long one, and for that I am truly sorry, but I wanted to detail as much of it as possible to eliminate any ambiguity or confusion. ;; If you could kindly take the time to read through it, I would greatly appreciate it!

Now here's where I'm really inconvenient, particularly for those that have already expressed interest, but there is an application section. The positions for Strategist/Soldier are open acceptance and the application is mostly just for information gathering, but those that would like the leadership positions of Captain will be in competition for the available spots, though that also depends on how many applicants we get! Ideally, if we get enough people interested in playing Soldiers, then we can have a group assigned to one specific district and have a Captain for each group, but again, that's all up to you guys. We'll play it by ear. :)

Arthur posted ICly about this over here, but responding to that isn't absolutely necessary and the OOC info page will always be open to applications, though if you'd like them to enlist before the battle of Ragnarok in November, please try to have your applications in by 31st October so I can coordinate the Squadrons and y'all can know who your team is. C:

edit to add: leadership applications will probably close on 20th October, so I can give people their Squadrons and whatnot. \o/

SO this is a heads up that I've been on a kind of unannounced (and... now announced) slowatus due to assignments and exams, hence the abysmal tagging speed. If anyone wants to drop any threads from last month or anything, I can't really blame you. I may also drop some threads along the way, in which case it'd be my inspiration for them flickering. Sorry. :(

Either way, this affects Xion here, Himari (predestination), Eve (expy) and Leaf (firespin)! Hopefully, I'll be up to speed soon enough.

So. Like a month ago (where did the time go?) Uther made this post to the network about teaching everyone who wants to about war and how it works and what you do when you're fighting one, and I'm going to follow up on it, somewhat, finally. Should've probably done that... sort of way earlier, really, oops.

It's not going to be anything complicated - at least not for starters - so really just like a War 101 and I figured that I should make some blurbs on what exactly it is he's going to be teaching, and I'll put that up on my journal because that along with an IC announcement from the beloved King of Camelot will be written tomorrow.

Here, I'm going to make a quick cap on how I'm setting this up and ask for your opinion on something.

Uther wants it to be done as quickly as possible, basically, so he's setting it up with one lesson of a decent few hours on different times for three days, and after those three days he moves onto another lesson for another three days. This is to make sure that people with different or fickle schedules will be able to learn too.

With the fickleness of arrivals and residents, he's going to keep them fairly disconnected but it's rather impossible for war things not to be connected, so he will be expecting people to be able to pass on the knowledge and such to whoever comes and wants to help in the war.

And for starters, he's going to keep it very, very basic and from time to time he'll throw in extra lessons to recap those basics. You will know about all this, honest!

What I want to ask you, though, is if you want me to throw up open logs for mingle purposes? Because I'm not going to be playing the lessons out ICly, but they could give opportunities for new CR if people want it. There might not be logs for every day of it, or whatever, but if you want a few, I can oblige! You can always set them up yourselves, of course - open logs and whatnot - but it might not be as efficient...? It is an option, at least!

And, of course, if someone wants to play something out with Uther over it, all you gotta do is contact me.

I'm going on a hiatus until the end of the Milkening. It looks fun, but I've been having a lot of time management issues lately and some RL stuff that hit me REALLY HARD with stress, so I can't handle a plot right now that would deserve my energy and attention.

Mary will be faceless until next Saturday while I manage my forever backtags (with apologies to the lovely people I've been keeping waiting for so, so long). I love you guys! I promise someday I'll stop failing

So real life decided to blow up in my face today and as such, I'm not really sure wtf is going on in my life. I'm not sure how active I can be this month so I'm hiatusing to be safe but I am going to try and tag and stuff when I'm able to. And hey, it might be good distractions some days.

Yeah. If you guys have me on plurk you know that I've been counting down for BW2 to drop, and it finally is on Sunday! And that probably means that i'll have my nose buried in my DS for at least the next couple of days. For my inbox's sake, i'll be kind of slow for the week (or however long it takes me to beat both games), but i'll still be tagging around! Just not at my usual speed.

A canon update for Hilda will also be happening sooner rather than later!!! But until then, stay sweet, Asgard!
